Statuas d Sal
In 1996 they played the Dtr. Music Festival, with certain success from the press and the public. The second record, LA ONDA INESTABLE, was recorded after getting their freedom card and deciding to buy a recording system. They sold 2000 copies and make various appearances on the mainland. They put on a daring unprecedented performance in the Reina Sofia park: a hundred and eleven musicians on the stage with the symphonic orchestra and corps Ciutat d’Eivissa.
At Christmas 2003 they cut their third record, FÁCIL, which they class as “between the spontaneity and passion of the first and the elaboration, work and study with electronic elements, acoustic guitars and freshness of their live show.
In 2005 the RCD Español asks them to produce the club’s hymn, which they interpret in the Montjuïc stadium in front of 40,000 people. The same year they put the sound-track to the film Aislados by David Marqués.
In June 2006 they take part in the concert SOS Eivissa: Save the Mediterranean in front of 10,000 people and together with artists such as: Ojos de Brujo, Gerard Quintana, Chambao and many others. That year they produce their fourth work: SIEMPRE QUE OCURRE LO MISMO SUCEDE IGUAL… PERO DE DISTINTA MANERA.
2007 is the group’s year, as they win the competition organised by VODAFONE, among 2,000 candidates from all of Spain, they sign with SONY & BMG and record their first “official” record with eleven songs, PIES DULCES, produced by Fernando Montesinos. The songs are presented in the iTunes format, and they thus become the first group in Spain to edit a disc solely in digital format.
