We’re lucky, in this neighbourhood, to be living in a time when everyone feels at home here while the cat sleeps in the shoe shop’s window display…(when the shop’s closed, hidden from the owner)
It’s the neighbourhood that has it all: university, school, library, museum, art galleries, dance, cinema and production academies, photography shop and laboratory, newsagents’, even a radio station, and of course, cafés and restaurants where nobody goes unnoticed.
In the midst of all this, shops that go from sweets for those who don’t miss the movies, to vets, tailors, computers, hairdressers, bakers…a big supermarket and food shops; competition is no problem here…even a fine and modern sex shop for ladies (recently inaugurated), music shops and video clubs just in case you get bored with all the previous…
Sa Capelleta is just where the old part of the city starts, in front of the old fortifications, and from time to time you can even hear a rock band rehearsing in the garage of one of its houses…
It’s one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Ibiza, if we started to name everything that can be found there and that is lived in its parks and streets, and all the friends that you meet on every corner, Pedro’s café would be able to close at ten at night…

Asociación de Vecinos de Sa Capelleta (Sa Capalleta Neighbours’ Association) is united enough to bring about different social and cultural initiatives, in a permanent way.

GUIDE TO LOSE YOURSELF IN

THEATRE WORKSHOP
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 19:00 hrs.
In the theatre workshop you will be able to stage different tales or stories, practise with music and do different corporal expression exercises.
Price: 15€
IBIZAN FOLKLORE (Folk dancing)
Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:00 to 19:00 hrs.
The different steps of Ibizan folk dancing will be taught as well as how to play some of the traditional folk instruments.
Price: 15€
