IBIZAN “PEIX NOSTRUM”
The consellera of Political Patrimonial and Agricola, Marga Torres; the Govern Balear’s general director of Fishing, Patricia Arbona; the Head of Ibiza’s Fisherman’s Association, Emilio Benítez; and the Association’s secretary, Xico Cardona, presented the new Peix Nostrum quality label.The new Peix Nostrum Quality label guarantees consumers that the fish they consume comes from Ibiza Island and, therefore, it was captured by the Ibiza float and was properly processed, wrapped and refrigerated.
The initiative is intended to enable citizens to identify Ibiza fish of superb quality instantly.
As in other autonomous regions, making the label known to the public involves a series of advertising campaigns.
