Wood in Yanny’s hands becomes his accomplice, docile and sinuous, it knows that after hours, days, months… alone, in the artist’s embrace, its body and soul belong to him, it unwraps itself before him, opening itself up slowly at every stroke of his chisel, it surprises him with a new posture, it takes his hands and directs him with its body, showing him palm by palm, finger by finger, the infinity of surreal shapes hidden within.

Whoever knows Yanny Levkoff knows that they are face to face with a grand master, a maestro.

At the end of our photo session, Yanny asked us to help him turn the piece over, and when we did, he glowed with happiness to discover a new vision of his companion.
