IBIZA FOOTBALL PARTY
Three players from the Spain national team will attend.
Next Wednesday 20th June, at half past eight in the evening in the ‘Recinto Ferial’, the ninth edition of the Football Party will be held, an event instigated by the Diario de Ibiza in which prizes will be awarded to the best teams and players of all categories of the island’s football and which is expected to attract some 2000 people.
Among the First Division players that the organisation invites every year to add lustre to the gala this year there are three players from the Spanish national team, who also play for the First Division Valencia CF, and they are Albelda, Joaquín and Villa. The attendance of Izquierdo from the Osasuna team has also been confirmed.
As in the last edition, the party’s presenter will be the Television Española presenter and football journalist, Quique Guasch. There will be varios performances during the party, including the ballet Capricorn and the magician Dantés.
The sponsorship of the party is down to the Consell Insular and various private companies as well as Diario de Ibiza, driving force behind this party which came into being with the spirit of supporting and promoting football in both Ibiza and Formentera.The event will be held on Wednesday 20th June, at half past eight in the evening, in the Recinto Ferial.
